For ELA teachers in grades 3-10:
The goal of this PD is to help your teachers get more 3’s and 4’s on the TCAP writing task. This will happen through improved writing instruction. This is not a PD full of test-prep hacks.

This two-day professional development series is designed to empower teachers with the tools and strategies needed to prepare students for the TCAP Writing Task. This training focuses on Tennessee ELA Writing Standards 1-3, emphasizing opinion/argumentative, informative/explanatory, and narrative writing. Through interactive sessions, participants will engage in writing and explore best practices for fostering student success. By the end of the sessions, teachers will feel confident in guiding students to write with purpose, clarity, and depth.
